Meagen Baldy

Meagen Baldy holds a key leadership role as the Director of Self-Governance and Commerce for the Hoopa Valley Tribe. She brings national expertise in food sovereignty, serving on the USDA Tribal Advisory Committee and previously on the board of the Intertribal Agriculture Council (IAC). Her work actively supports Tribal producers across Indian Country by bridging policy and practice, focusing on the revitalization of Native food traditions, food safety, and developing sustainable, local food economies.
